I’M BACK!
I’ve been spending a lot of time at home this year, like most of the world, looking for distractions from the onslaught of horrible news. It’s been a really, really hard year. However, one of the nicer things to happen for me personally is I’ve slowly but surely found myself feeling more creative again. Early in lockdown I started just doodling, for my own fun/sanity. Then it turned into illustrating, and coming up with ideas like psychic fortune-telling goldfish (see the store for what that idea turned into…) More recently, after much daydreaming of having an outlet for all of these ideas it dawned on me - hey, idiot, you do have an outlet. So here I am, just in time for the fifth anniversary of originally launching Merpola in the first place. It’s really good to be back, especially as we enter another lockdown here in the UK. Working on these new products and the website has brought me a lot of distraction and joy, I hope it can provide some of the same for you.
